free parking near Leicester Tigers stadium

reaching out to your midlands peeps from leicester

I came there a few times hinkley, oadby and evington from memory

next trip is a friend's wedding on a public holiday

where can I park for free near the tigers stadium (welford road stadium) which is within walking distance etc

thoughts would be welcome I'm going to be doing about 100 mile journey if I make it.

Oh dear, sorry. I haven't lived in Leicester for 7+ years now, and when I went to Nando's a few years ago it was still free then.

youll be lucky finding any free parking around there, unless you park ~ a mile away and walk.

If you walk from town you can park in Lee Circle NCP car park for £4 a day.

Morrisons has a time limit.

What day of the week is it?

Which will be enforced by a Private Parking Company, if at all. Which can't enforce any charges. As long as the signs don't mention clamping, I wouldn't have any issues with parking in there all day, then binning any invoices attached to my car when i got back

There isnt much/any free parking near the stadium. The closest free is to park would be somewhere near by the Donkey Pub on Welford Road. A little over half a mile I think.

thanks maybe I should stick to this NCP then £4 for the whole day sounds reasonable.

Lees Circle is a massive trek!

Walnut street, lancaster road, Regent road, University road, Wwestern boulevard, Jarrom street, all street off narborough road all have free roadside parking (depending on day of week & time of day).

Not on a Monday they wont. Only after 6pm

If I remember correctly, there is an NCP near the hospital? Probably charges a bomb though.

Certainly off narborough road is free at all times, and I think all of the suggestions bar the ones near the uni are free too, but if it's bank hold you're probs ok regardless.

There's a car park above Bannatynes gym - maybe 10mins away, or of course the big carpark adjoining the tigers ground!
