Free PDF Editor Without Watermark

Can anyone recommend a simple free PDF editor that does not leave a watermark when adding text?
I do not require loads of feature that I will never use. I just want to be able to open a PDF form, fill it in by adding text and possibly an image of my signature, and then save it without leaving a watermark.
It is very rarely that I need to do this do this.

Pretty sure adobe reader does this. You need to switch it back to the old classic view or whatever they call it to more easily access the features but I think both of those things are there.

Acrobat reader will fill in a form. You can check Foxit pdf reader as well. If you mean actually editing the text in a PDF then options are more limited, but PdfGear is pretty decent indeed. mac and windows

I use Foxit to do this, including adding a signature image, then saving the resultant pdf with the added text / sig.

Foxit would be my suggestion. You do need to signup to an account, but I used this to complete my conveyancing paperwork - Sig's etc

Tried PFDgear free edition, its great so far, basic editing/deleting of pdfs and option to save.

I've written over PDFs in Libre Office Draw before, for filling forms which aren't actual forms.
