originally for bandwidth reasons i guess. probably not that important anymore but it does ensure sigs load quickly and dont hold anything up ect. 20kb isnt that hard to stick to tbh.


oh and paint.net is actually rather good. unfortunately it isnt a £500 piece of software. obvious comment is obvious!!

There's another pretty cool paint program that's more like Corel Painter - ArtRage - www.artrage.com - for PC and Mac OS - the free version is great but for $25 you can buy the full deal.

Paint.NET is excellent. I use it such a lot and put it on all systems I build!

Currently using paint.net! But what is the best software for cutting out objects or where is the option on paint.net for cutting out. I have had a good goosey but can't find it.

If you want a part of the picture use the first icon on the toolbar and then do a CTRL-C

or if you want to make the picture smaller use first icon again and then click on the Crop To Selection on the top toolbar.
