Free Program For Flow Diagrams

I am after a free program that I can use for a quick flow diagram, nothing special, i just want boxes and the ability to join them together easily and add text.

Try OpenOffice, they have by the sounds of it what your after.

very old but (making it free) very easy to use.

Can do all sorts of vector graphics type stuff,
i was using it 10 years ago and i am still using it today
