free program to calibrate new monitor?

thing is i cant seem to get my colours just right or brightness.is there anyway of getting a free program to set it up right?any help would be greatful thanks.
Try http://www.calibrize.com/, it'll never create very accurate colours, but should help them to look ok.
It also has a LUT loader so that it'll load the profile when windows starts up.
