Free PS3 video converting software

Yet again I come to you guys for your informed wisdom.
Am looking for as the title says an app to do exactly that.

I tried Mpeg steamclip but that took an age.
Was wondering what you guys use/suggest.

Converting from what? What quality? For streaming or storage?

WMV's, some Avi's/Divx's won't play for some reason. Quality= dvd rips.
For streaming and storage.

From my use and understanding of Handbrake that doesn't do transcoding between formats, but will do DVD rips / encoding?

FFMPEGx sounds the bag for this.

Sorry, yeah, that is true.

For encoding between formats I use Super.
