I went last year, was a pretty good trip out - Long way from where I am, but offset that against it being free and you can't argue too much.

Just grabbed some tickets as I'm not too far from Silverstone. I've never been to anything like this before though, can you camp at silverstone? Its only an hour or so to drive but it would be fun to stay there all weekend

There's a campsite at Whittlebury Park which is a 10min walk from the track. I wouldn't like to make use of the camping provision at the circuit as you'll be woken up quite early
