Whats the best way to upload hi quality photos to the internet for show? Some sites I've used compress the photo and make it look awful. I also don't like using hosting sites that claim ownership of the photo copyright etc once you upload it to them.

Any suggestions?

If you want that, I would recommend using your own hosting... depending on how much space you want, you can get 1GB-"Unlimited" for 2-9 pounds per month & then you have your own compression at the ready.

www.flickr.com is one of the better ones, however

Free or safe choose one. :p

Tsohost are one of the best hosting companies and are based in the UK, they charge £15 per year.

I would recommend avoiding any kind of companies offering "unlimited" packages, aside from being technically impossible you'll find your service cut off if you do use a lot of bandwidth.

I always thought Imgur were pretty good, but it hasn't been mentioned at all. Does anyone have the info on their compression?
