FREE SKY TV AND BROADBAND for 12 months for O2 customers

Just tried to do this but don't have a code. Spent 30 mins going through it all only to be told they wouldn't do it. Has anyone else had any luck with no code?

Has anyone tried to get this offer while keeping their BT phone line? I received the offer email today but from everything I've read, moving your landlines over to sky is a bad idea (if you ever want to leave them again!)

Just rang and apparently I'm eligible! :)
He couldn't finalise it tonight, as I come off a communal dish, so it needs to go through another department, and they are shut for the night.
I should be fine to arrange it if I ring back tomorrow though.
What a touch!

Didn't have a code btw

What is Sky LLU like. I have a choice of them or Talktalk in my area and I have been with TT before which was a bad experience.

I would like to keep my BT line though as I dont fancy paying to have it moved if i change my mind in 12 months

o2 customers should bite their hand off.

Its not free though, its still £15 for the phone rental, which is more than I am paying for o2. Not that bothered about Sky really but I suppose its better than talktalk.

I guess its a free disk and sky+ box.

Do Sky honour your o2 contract or do the prices increase when you are moved over?

I was about to leave 02 (16megBB & LL only) in light of the Sky take-over

They bargained me down to a 12 month contract @£22pcm which is basic landline and unlimited broadband, no tellywhatsits as I don't watch TV and never use a landline phone.

They also said when Sky eventually take over, I could leave if they change the service or the price...

I'm yet to receive any T&C's... I think they just switched me.

Did I just get robbed?

Yes because they charge you the same price for broadband, tv and phone as they do just phone. But you seem to be paying more.

With the offer you get it for £14.50 per month (Their line rental) free unlimited broadband and their family package. Which is worth about £50 per month normally.

But you have been given a deal which you pay more for less

Get back on that phone mate they are taking the piddle.

I am going to go with it as stated, £14.50 per month for 12 months, unlimited broadband, get a free dish and skyplus box. And family bundle tv.

I have few choices for LLU in my area so might as well.

What's the turnaround time for switching in your guys experience? Standard is 2 weeks for phone installation and up to 6 days for the broadband according to their details.

And has anyone got any little extras out of it by haggling? ;)

Got the same offer since I'm on BeThere and seriously considering the TV option which I've not had access to in years....

Spoke to an online advisor and it seems I got a dim one who forgot what I was talking about and proceeded to offer me a worse deal.

Time to pick up the phone I guess!

lol what a drama, got the email, managed to delete it by mistake, rang sky, was like I want to join... foreign girl was like "no you cannot join without code" I was like, fine, I want to cancel, put through to cancellations, whilst waiting, manager from sky called me and gave me a code.

Just got my sky viewing card through - install on thursday - quite excited really, will watch the prem in HD when its season time!
