I think it was probably a "suspicious package."
As my girlfriend and I were walking back up the street an hour before I took those pictures, a single Police car had a section of pavement cordoned off by a rubbish bin on the corner. I presumed suspicious package whereas my GF was oblivious and hopped up the kerb right next to the bin.
I didn't manage to get any pictures of the bomb squad guys fully padded up walking down the middle of the street
There's been no controlled explosion and it's all open again now.
