Just in case anybodys interested- I fixed this error on my machine. I updated my 'Generic Monitor' in the device manager to a 'Generic PnP Monitor'.

My samsung syncmaster 913n doesn't have official vista drivers, but who cares as long as it works!

tiny player, works perfectly
