I just tried that CBFSMS and i got this ?
You must NOT use popup or banner blocking software when using CBFSMS

In order to provide this service totally free, you must be able to see our sponsors' advertising banners and popups. You will not be allowed to send your message if you currently have a popup or banner blocker active. Please make sure any such software is disabled, return to the previous page, and tick the required box before continuing.

I am using XP Pro with SP2 and IE7 is there something i should unclick etc to enable it ?

I came across one, www.fonetastic.com I think it is, and it does ask you to click a link to send the message but its not too over the top, and I find it works a lot better than cbfsms.com

thats the crap one im afraid, i sent 2 texts from it earlier, my friends still waiting to receive them, i even sent one to my phone to test it, it hasn't arrived yet. dismal service.

cbfsms.com gives you a confirmation message if the text has arrived safely, i sent a test to my mobile and it worked fine.

orange? only work if your orange tho :(

im on O2 im afraid :( i just needed to send some info out tonight to a few different people and really couldnt be botherd to use the tiny tiny tiny keys on my mobile phone, it seems the general aim is to make mobiles no larger than a single atom. i feel very sorry for anyone elderly using a mobile today, god knows im having enough trouble and im 24. it doesnt have to be tiny... just well designed and light weight will do.
