Free upgrade received on Seasonic PSU - Am I lucky?

I've only recently got back into owning a PC and doing some gaming, last time I ordered from OC was about 10 years ago so I don't know if this is normal.

Ordered the Seasonic 650w 80+ Gold Focus PSU, had a nice surprise to find it circled on the invoice and a Seasonic 650w Prime Snow Silent 80+ platinum... For context, the one I ordered they were selling for £94.99, this is £164.99.

I guess some might not like receiving an all white PSU but it doesn't bother me, feels like a nice upgrade even though there were other Seasonics in stock closer to the 95 price. Unless there's something I don't know about this PSU and they're trying to get rid of them.

I should point out this is partly a boast, why wouldn't I? At the same time I hope this doesn't **** anyone off.

They have probably mis picked it.

If you ever need the receipt for warranty you'll struggle as you dont have proof of purchase for the item sent

That's a good point about the warranty, though the power supply I did buy went OOS pretty quickly after I put my order in.

Even so, they normally wouldn't replace it with something vastly more expensive so it looks like a mistake has been made. Normally if you order something that is out of stock it get's placed on back order and you have to wait until it comes back into stock.
