Free Upgrade ?

I have 2 of the xfx 290 (stock speed) running in crossfire.

Installed new driver and forgot to disable ULPS - not a problem as such just noticed that gpu is showing 2560 shaders wheras gpu 2 is showing 2816 and if memory serves shows more bandwidth or texture filrate.

Is this an occasion when I have fallen lucky and one of my 290's is in fact a 290x in disguise or is it more likely a glitch ?

Probably a glitch but I have heard people updating the bios on the XFX R9-290 to R9-290X levels.
