Free utility to open .rar files?

As title, is there anything out there that can open these - preferably free?

UnRarX will do the job, but I prefer BetterZip as an archive manager.

Don't install stuffit!

No offence but why anyone is recommending the garbage that is stuffit is beyond me.

I don't see the point in Stuffit when Betterzip does a better and cheaper job.

I got Stuffit Expander for free download off the site so I'm not going to complain. Does exactly the job that I asked

Thanks for that Feek, I was using Stuffit, but it just didn't feel right.
It felt like using Realplayer a couple of years ago, downright dirty

Giving Betterzip its 30 day trial now. I must say it looks cleaner and is working quicker too

Well it told me that one of my archives was corrupt, when betterzip extracted it fine. Also tried extracting a 15GB RAR file and it died so off it went into the bin.
