I've had a look in the freeware thread, and there are about 50 tools listed for video encoders, which is a little overwhealming. Especially as I need not just an encoder, but a tool with some editing capabilities as well. I record videos using fraps, which saves some huge .avi files. I also have a separately made 'intro' video which I want to stick in front of the fraps recorded stuff. Now, the problem comes because the fraps stuff was obviously all done with the fraps codec, while I don't remember what the into vid was done with. I tried avidemux and while it sticks them all together, the audio is fine for the intro, but then just turns into a screeching noise, which is horrible.
Are there any free programs I can use out there to stick video files together and encode them into one video?
