im after some free site building software
ive used swish and swishmax in the past, but they seem alittle dated now.
can anyone reccomend anything to me ?

Another vote for NVU.
One of the best freebie editor out there in my opinion - only sort of downside is occasionally does some funky formatting in the source code where it splits lines for some reason.
