Free web filtering software for Laptops

Hi as the title suggests looking for any recommendations on free web filtering software to block Internet usage abuse and block NSFW wenaites (pron, betting websites, alcohol and guns etc....)

AdGuard (public) DNS with Family Protection will cover what you want, and it's free. It blocks adult sites, inappropriate content etc and also enforces safe search on various search engines, YouTube et al. See here for info. For more control, I highly recommend AdGuard (paid) DNS or NextDNS. The latter is probably a little easier to use and has a few extra options. NextDNS costs about £19 a year iirc, or you can always run your own DNS server - for example AdGuard Home with Hagezi's blocklists.
