Hi Guys

I'm in the process of changing over from Virgin Broadband (down the Phone line) to BT Infinity option 2...

Thing is, when I was with Virgin I had a small amount of Free Hosted Webspace with them, not much, but it was enough! :)

I read back in October that BT were stopping their Free Webspace Hosting "Due to the fact that not many people used the service!" (BT never really advertised the fact that they did it!! so of course no one is gonna use it!! )

Anyhew, I'm after some recommendations on where to give my Website it's new home!

I'm really after summut free (as I can't really justify paying at the moment!!)...

So there you have it!! :) Any Recommendations Guys!? :) :)

I've been used to what ever Virgin, and before that Talktalk, give you for free (200mb I think!) so as for Size, anything around 500mb would suffice (bigger would be very nice, but not essential) :)

As for bandwidth I have no idea!

I really don't know what's out there!, Size, Bandwidth, utilities etc...

I have Corel's Website Creator X6 to fettle my website, but I also have a copy of Dreamweaver CS5 kicking about somewhere too! :)

Cheers Guys... I've signed up and now have a 'place holder' for my site and another email address...

I'll see what happens

Weird thing is, my old Virginmedia website is still running! It'll probly stay running till someone further down the line notices!!, Think I'll wipe it clean anyway! ;)

Here are some I've had excellent experiences with

1freehosting.com - Absolutely ridiculously functional web hosting, had over 3gb stored with them using 20-30gb a month in bandwidth with no complaints. Full PHP/Mysql etc with no ads. They were FANTASTIC

Awardspace - Not as functional but ridiculously reliable and they never delete your content. I have a website I put up there nearly 8 years ago and it's still there under free hosting. No ads, and fast as hell.
