free webcam recording software ?

hi im looking for some free software to record from my webcam,its a short term messure until i buy a dedicated CCTV set up,weve had a few vandals about lately and i want to put a webcam in the window and record over night if possible

is there any free stuff that will let me do this ?

iSpy is open source, works on Windows and looks pretty awesome from the feature list.

Alternative, ZoneMinder LiveCD?
