(Free) Wordpress Themes?

hi

i'm looking to build a simple WP site
it's for music tabilature and lyrics, thats it really.

need something thats text friendly i guess, and blue tinged (site is called blueguitar)

i've been messing with one called boldy, http://wordpress.site5.net/boldy/

but the slider images are too fast

wheres good to look? do most people just download themes or create them (i think creating would be going too far for me though tbh, no skillz or time

)

Why don't you just slow them down then? The theme more than likely came with documentation which will tell you how to do this.

that slider is a nivo slider...why don't you get someone to do it for you?

i managed to get the sliders slowed down. i may stick with this for now

are you offering to help me??

or do you think there are better themes around

personally I'd do a custom theme! Or customise that one...

i'm only playing at the minute: http://blueguit.tsohost.co.uk/blueguitarV2/

but i've never used WP before so it's a bit frustrating. in fact i've little website knowledge in general.

i just liked the menus on this theme but some of the presets are annoying.

edit: a pat on the back would have to do lol.

wp is great once you get it and get used to it. keep playing I'm sure you'll be there in a few days. There are some great plugins once you're up and running give me a shout and I'll point you in the right direction
