Free WoW account now given away.

The first person to say they want my account, gets it completely free (Inc. 60 mage, 47 rogue and 30 pala)

I just wanna stop playing the game, and tbh...i dont think that will happen until i get rid of the account.

Bit slow ;) If you want to try WoW, im pretty sure there is a 10 day trial somewhere you can sign up for.

Knowing blizz they will ban the account anyway.... loggin in from a totally different IP address and changing billing to somoene else etc.

A friend of mine got his account banned because he logged in at an internet cafe on a trip to france, blizz said it was for "unauthorised access". He went through all the usual stuff to get the account back but gave up in the end. Luckily he was only about level 45 and hadnt invested much time in the game really.

Selling or even giving away an account to someone else is not allowed in the EULA and they usually crack down pretty hard if they even get a sniff that more than one person is using the account. They dont care about banning honest players simply because there are millions of others still paying. Just have a quick look at the forums regarding investigation times on accounts. Instead of a few days its now usually weeks before you hear anything after being suspended or banned. Often people dont even know WHY they are suspended.

I love wow but i think that blizz is overstretching itself far too much and not investing in the customer service side of things. My guild had a bugged razorgore encounter last month ( he couldnt be looted-master looter) and it too 2 and a half WEEKS for the ticket to get resolved. When i played anarchy online at the height of its popularity you could get a game master to respond within 10 minutes even when it was busy!. I know blizzard have far more customers but then again that means they have far more money to pay for the level of service people expect.

I take it this game is pretty life-sucking then?

I used to play Guild Wars but in the end I uninstalled it and haven't been back to it in a year. I won't touch WoW, Eve or similar games for fear of getting sucked in! :D
