Free XBOX360 with some phone deals?

My monthly contract is up for renewal I have have seen some retailers advertising freebies like PSP,ipods and 360's. The contract price and terms are the same as what I pay direct with o2.

Has anyone signed up for one of these deals? Did you get your freebie?

edit: I am after the XBOX so are there any nasty catches like huge delivery costs?

I was looking at these deals when my contract ended recently. However it seems that all of these deals come with what are ultimately crap/cheap phones and some places charge you for these, plus most are 18 month deals, which if you pay £40 for the phone, £35 a month contract for 18 months (which would add up to around £600) you'd be better off getting a decent phone on a contract which actually suited you and buy an xbox 360 outright.

A friend of mine signed up for a free PSP deal, and it did come after a month, so I don't think there'd be any trouble if you did choose one of these deals.

T-mobile seem to be doing the best deals at the moment, after looking I got a D600 for free on a 12 month relax 25 contract (£18.75/pm) which wasn't bad, direct from a tmobile shop.

I'm also looking at signing up to one of these deals. The 18month contract doesn't seem like a big deal, I'm not particularly bothered about the sort of phone I get as long as it'll last the 18 months and has bluetooth that's about all I need from it. Looking at one of the deals with a Motorola V3 free on T-mobile. Only thing is I'll be moving from 3 and I don't think for the same money a month the inclusive minutes/texts are as good.

Also with the xbox deals you need to be aware it's only the 'Core' you get, so you'll need to buy a hard drive, subscribe to xbox live etc separately.

Yeah, my situation is more delicate. I really want the Xbox 360 but my wife will not let me just go and buy one. If I got it "free" however it would be ok. The handset isnt too much of an issue I still have a 6230i which is perfectly fine for now.

I have three friends at work who did exactly that. Why oh why will women not realise that consoles are as necessary to us as make-up and shoes are to them?
