Oop north - where it's grim...
Hi All

Picked up a Freecom USB TV stick the other day - all is working fine, other than when moving the player window to my second monitor, no video is displayed - I just get the sound. This is the only thing that has this problem - WMP 10, PowerDVD etc work fine on the second monitor. Graphics card is an NVidia 7800 GT - Monitors are a Dell 2405FPW (Primary) and a Viewsonic VP171b (Secondary).

I'd be really grateful for any help as it's driving me nuts!

TIA

Si.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum - wasn't sure where to put it, so stuck it in GH.

Not that you are to know but its more likely a graphics card problem - very few cards ( I didnt see you mentioning what you had) can only display video - or a game - on the 2ndry monitor.

From this point of view the game / video is called an overlay and most cards can only accomplish one at a time ( think even the 7900 / 1900 series are only capable of one) and even this has to be on the Primary monitor.

scrap that lol I just reread your whole post lol

I think its a fault with your usb software, as indicated I think ( only as a test) if you switch your primary windows monitor to the opposite one then the tv will be happily displayed
