So im aware of the critera of applying for a freedom pass. But I knew a friend that had one that's 21 years old and only has ADHD. Apparently you can write a letter of your other conditions to apply for one, and how it can affect life,i think he used his as an excuse to find work/get to work, money wise.

I personally have tourrets syndrome but it doesnt affect me in every day life, but wondering if anyone knows any information, i could use to my advantage :)

Any ideas that come to mind are appreciated

I suppose you're talking about "'a state of arrested or incomplete development of mind which includes significant impairment of intelligence and social functioning'"

does that sound like you?

I guess it does, i'm not a social person, and I tend to not really get along with people haha, or im just socially awkward. Im not sure about impairment of intelligence, but I shall be getting an ADHD/Dyslexia assessment soon. I may or may not have it, but im at uni atm, and my focus is horrible and get distracted easily

Being socially awkward is not a 'significant impairment of intelligence and social function' necessarily, it seems incredibly unlikely that based on what you've said you'll fit the description required...

So do I and a lot of people, but that doesn't mean you have a disability.

But my friend-ish guy I know, only has ADHD, hes an extremely confident and social person, and has no problem talking to anyone. He's just a lazy ****er, but he works now, but he only got his freedom pass using his ADHD as an excuse..so im unsure lol

ADHD is quite often linked to poor parenting and frequently shares the traits of insecure attachment disorder, but parents are so quick to get a diagnosis and medication what isn't actually adhd gets diagnosed as it

Ahhh, im just wondering if somehow my Tourret's, i could use to advantage to get a freedom pass, like he did to his adhd haha, dammit

ADHD didn't exist back when I was at school. We just had disruptive divvy kids who were made to do all their lessons with Mr Morgan in the woodwork room.

So the crux is this 'mate' has weaseled himself a freedom pass, you are jealous and are now trying to work out how you can weasel one for yourself?

I have one for my heart condition and stroke. Bloody handy tbh. The little hopper bus stops nigh on outside my house, so I can nip to the supermarkets at will without costing me a penny :)

Why only London? I can't drive a car due to my medications.

Does your local council not have a similar scheme? Also, the scope of London travel is quite short. People out in the sticks might need to get on trains and the like that just cost too much money to use for free.

On a freedom pass, you cant use the overground before 9:30am, so people cant just grab one to get to work for free.
