Freedom to surf 8x IP address and routing problem - Advice pls
Hi,
I have just got new broadband as have moved premises, to Freedom To Serve. I host an Exchange server and a Sharepoint site on 2 different servers. As the certs on the server need to be static external IP address I cant use NAT on the my router.
Therfore have set it all up correctly and some people can connect to the servers and some cant. And I have no outgoing internet conectivity.
I dont believe this is a configuration error on my part.
here are some tracerts from outside and inside etc.
Server1 : *.*.*.218
server2: *.*.*.219
Outside our network - communicating to our servers from my home BB (Sky)
Tracing route to *****name goes here*******[*.*.*.*.219]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 1 ms 3 ms 1 ms 10.0.0.1
2 55 ms 46 ms 62 ms cr0.sstro.uk.easynet.net [195.189.159.247]
3 58 ms 41 ms 67 ms 87.87.128.1
4 85 ms 48 ms 44 ms be2.er10.txlon.ov.easynet.net [195.66.226.43]
5 60 ms 80 ms 45 ms te1-3.cr05.hx2.bb.gxn.net [195.66.226.29]
6 44 ms 46 ms 54 ms ae0-102.cr01.hx4.dsl.pipex.net [62.72.139.22]
7 49 ms 56 ms 44 ms g1-11-1.1.ar11.f2s.hx4.dsl.pipex.net [62.241.167
.26]
8 121 ms 138 ms 90 ms i-195-137-0-222.freedom2surf.net [Default gateway static]
9 91 ms 79 ms 85 ms i-*-*-*-219.freedom2surf.net [*.*.*.219]
Trace complete. - good it works
Crazy thing is, when doing that from anyother broadband (im on sky at home) and tried it from a dozen location it does this:
Outgoing and incoming comms from our servers
Tracing route to www.google.co.uk or anything else
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 1 ms 3 ms 1 ms 10.0.0.1
2 55 ms 46 ms 62 ms cr0.sstro.uk.easynet.net [195.189.159.247]
3 58 ms 41 ms 67 ms 87.87.128.1
4 85 ms 48 ms 44 ms be2.er10.txlon.ov.easynet.net [195.66.226.43]
5 60 ms 80 ms 45 ms te1-3.cr05.hx2.bb.gxn.net [195.66.226.29]
*

*
*
* etc times out
always gets stuck at gxn.net [195.66.226.29]
Any ideas - we have "level 3"
support working on it but we have no answer for 1.5 days!!! Obviously a routing problem but how does that get sorted? any advice or solutions??
