Freelancer question

I have just started playing Freelancer after seeing a lot of people rate it very highly.

My question is.

do you get to ask people question (like mulit choice questions like in oblivion)

cause when I talk to people they just seem to reel off information like I am asking them stuff.

there's no multichoice/chat interaction, they offer either a mission, map info or bribe and thats all.. it's not a very deep game but it's fun.

huge ammounts of fun!! still a good multiplayer system too
