Freelancer Vista font issue

ok just been playing freelancer with a mate and changed one of the pcs to vista. Now the fonts in freelancer are huge at any res. Any ideas how this can be fixed?

I'd just reinstalled this a couple of days ago. No problems with the font size here. Have you patched it? Or have you got some mods installed?

no mods but no patch either. A clean vista install from disk. Max res of 1024x768 but that looked fine under xp.
