Freelancer!

Anyone remember microsoft freelancer.

it was and still is one of my most favourite games, the single player story etc was great and i had lots of fun back in the day, such a shame they didnt make a prequel.

anyone play it? Best space game available

Was starlancer actually a prequel? iv heard of it and people said it was nothing like freelancer.

I've looked at a few games and even bought a few but couldnt get into them as much as i did with freelancer, hoping this black prophecy or jumpgate evolution will be good.

Dont have high hopes though

You can still play it online however i think you need to download something to get on the servers or visit a website and click the links.

Havent played online in awhile however there were a lot of people on it and some RPG servers.

Looks like it could have actually been a fun game, Freelancer one would take a lot of beating though. and i liked how the planets etc were named after cities and things

One things for certain we need a new fun original space game!

Was kind of hoping starwars the old republic would fill my need for a good space game, however it looks crap, tunnel arcade game

could have been a lot better if they made a system like freelancer with starwars galaxies level of customization/crafting components.
