Freeloader for Wii?

Does anyone know if those Datel FreeLoader things that allow you to play region-locked games in any region will work for Gamecube games on a Wii?

I'm only interested in running some American games on a PAL Wii - not interested in running homebrew or dodgy copies, etc... just having US games work on my Wii is enough for me.

Last i heard there was one in development, no release date or anything though.

Was looking at this last night on a bookstore site and there does indeed seem to be a version that works on the Wii for GC games (even has Wii stamped on the packaging).

I got a freeloader for my old gamecube and that works fine in my Wii but obviously only for GC games, datel are however working on a separate version for Wii games
