Freemake and ripping DVD with Menu's

Have a few DVD's that im going to rip to AVI format with Freemake but a few of them have title menu's that jump to various chapters on the disk.

Just wondering how this will work when I rip it to AVI? Will the menu simply be ignored as I can't imagine it working once converted to AVI format. Anyone able to advise on this?
