freenas and raid?

i am going to setup my proliant microserver tonight and install freenas 8.0

i am installing this onto a usb stick

and have 4 x 2tb harddrives, will i be okay using raidz1?? and what other options do i have to configure when setting it up in order to possibly expand capacity at a later date??

Does the Microserver support RAID5 or 6?

I'd go for RAID5 over RAID1.
