I added a 500GB Buffalo external drive to my freenas box last night. I was able to mount it without any problems and basically everything was hunky dory. I had to reboot the box this evening and when it returned to life it failed to mount the drive. This then meant I had to go through the whole setup process again, configuring the mount point, shares, and then rebuilding the FUPPES database.
Was I foolish to assume Freenas would mount the external disk after a reboot? Is there something else I should be doing?
Any pointers would be great
