Freesat Help

Hi

Im getting a couple of Freesat boxes and it will be the first time ive had Freesat.

Im looking at getting a HUMAX FoxSat-HDR Freesat HD

Are these considered good boxes, as im clueless with Freesat/Freeview boxes after having VM and SKY for years?

I havent bought nothing yet as im waiting till the 25th this month as i cancelled my Tivo contract 4 months in due to their price changes last week.

Had lots of problems with the TIVO regarding picture quality and used the price changes as an excuse to get out of the Tivo Contract, i dont like paying £90 a month to watch pixelated blocky pictures and audio out of sync, very disappointed, the Tivo has tons of issues even though the features are superb on it.

So i need to get a Freesat HD recorder which will prob be the Hummax and also need to get a Freesat HD box (no recorder)

I have a Humax HD box and really can't fault it, even comes with a HDMI cable

Oh just incase it hasn't been mentioned, don't forget if you are going to to be using 2 boxes and one is a HDR then you will need a 4 block LNB for the dish. The HDR will require two feeds to allow for recording and viewing and the the HD box will require one.

I still have my old SKY HD connection leads still setup in 2 separate rooms

I have the white 2 connections leads in the front room and i have 2 connection leads in the bedroom, i used to have a SKY HD box in front room and bedroom. will this be ok to have 2 freesat boxes as i will basically be using the same connections i had when i had 2 Sky HD boxes in separate rooms.?
