I'm assuming this is what the "Sattelite" connection on the back is for?

Recently got rid of Sky and was thinking I'm going to need another cable to connect to arial but I guess I can just use Freesat? Is there any better service than freesat also that doesn't cost the world and utilised this port?

Thanks.

I managed to get it to work cheeers, only 4HD but I think there is a problem with the splitter box in the building.

It's also picked all Sky channels but they're encrypted. There is an enormous amount of indian, Pakistani and some African channels that I've never came across on Sky.

I live in flats so can't really get a second dish or mess with the current one so I suppose it's impossible for me to access many channels?

Weirdly enough the receiver already picks up all these sattelites so I decided to try Hotbird and scam but most channels are encrypted or just Sky channels it seems.

I'm confused it seems like some parts of the internets suggest that Sky Freesat is different to "Freesat", however most recent info on this I could find was from 2015, has this changed or is the case?

Is it possible with these other boxes to recieve channels you otherwise wouldn't be able to without moving the dish.
