Hello all,

I've just dumped sky after getting a NOW TV Box in the black Friday sales. Really impressed with it but would like to improve / consolidate viewing all to one box if that's at all possible?

Looking at a couple of options.

1. All in one streaming solution. Is a Roku 2 box https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00VRAZ700?ref=emc_b_5_i thought to be the best option, or what else could be considered. For NowTv / Amazon Prime and probably Netflix once Star Trek starts!

2. I've got the sky dish plugged directly into the TV for freesat, but I'm missing the ease of recording - especially to avoid the ITV advert laden catchup services! Tried hunting on Amazon but can't see anything decent - not sure what I'm looking for really! But would want to streaming capability of 1. above integrated into a freesat recorder; with wife friendly EPG / functions / etc - ie if there's one "similar" to sky plus, that would be great - series link functions possible?

Any ideas OCUK peeps?

Thanks :)

I have the same box and it's decent enough. It's getting on a bit now but I think it's still the best mainstream box available. It has smart apps, a decent EPG and you can scroll backwards through the guide as well as using apps directly.

It's just a shame that their H3 espresso box doesn't work with it because then you'd have the ability to watch what you record where you want.
