Hey

Where i currently live i cannot get any good tv signal, i can OCCATIONALY get some freeview channels but it depends on the weather, and channel's 1-5 on analogue are rubbish. I have a sky+ port in my room, i have run sky of it before when i borrowed a friends box so i know it works, HOWEVER i don't want to be tied down to paying around £18 a month for sky so i was thinking about getting a free sat box.

Somebody mentioned they can be had for around £60? Is this with recording capability? Could somebody shed some light on this for me, thanks all.

edit: after having a look around i see its about £100 average for a freesat hd box.
hmm?

is it worth going for a HD box, to get umm... 2 HD channels, or should i get just a normal free sat box?

I have a normal FreeSat box and a "normal" non HD television, its faultless. The HD boxes with PVR capabilities are just coming on the market but look to be paying £250+ at the moment.
