I have FreeSat through my TVs built in decoder, if I had a Sky box and bought the one off decoder card, would I get more channels?

No. You will get the same channels as on Freesat. I rang them about this for the bedrooms as we have some spare Sky boxes and they told me if I wanted more channels I'd have to have the basic package from them which they want money for.
