Freespace 1 with a tflight hotas x

Any of you have this and tried playing fs1 if so did you think it was way too sensative to keep targets in your sights. I managed to reduce mine a bit using xpadder for the yaw and pitch so it acts like a mouse cursor. Still tweaking settings but its a lot better now.

If you have played and have this joystick and did find some perfect settings, then please do share, saves me lookin to fine tune mine lol.

I do want to get fs2 and play it that way but im waiting till it is on sale at gog before getting it.

I found no solution other than what you did with the mouse fix. Even then it is not ideal but the original joystick settings were insane. The last time I played I actually swapped my joystick and throttle for a ps3 controller as I could react a bit quicker and smoother with it although I had a lot of trouble getting the right stick to work as well.
