Freespace IP acquired by Interplay apparently

Just saw TB latest content patch on utube and seems Interplay has bought the IP of freespace.

Maybe they plan on kickstarter soon for FS3.

If they do, that will become the 3rd kickstarter I back (Carmageddon and Elite being the other two).
