At first glance that is a horribly overpriced monitor, then you need to qaulify that with Gibbo's 1st post.![]()
They are priced higher than OcUK think they will sell for. The truth is OcUk has no pricing information, and while I trust Gibbo's experience, it's possible they could cost more.

I do have pricing information, but I believe it to be wrong, it shows the IPS G-Sync as having a sub £500 MSRP and the TN Freesync being £700 MSRP.
I personally feel Acer have it the wrong way round, or have a pricing error as such we've priced them both very high and are awaiting confirmation from Acer regarding pricing.
Hmm, sub £500 for the TN Freesync would make that very very tempting![]()
Considering this is still very early in the Freesync game, could you (Gibbo, or any reviewers/reporters reading this) push the manufacturers for details for their products' Freesync operating frequency ranges? If OcUK has the ranges stated, it would encourage others to follow suit. Maybe it would even become a common practice.
Currently we have to wait for input lag readings from review sites, so if nothing is done as a pre-emptive counter-measure, this might end up the same.
(yes, it might be only wishful thinking)
Yes, that is indeed exactly what I meant. Could you suggest that in the future they (the manufacturers) would release that info to the retailers, as well (or maybe they had planned to do so from the very beginning, who knows)?
It would be so much easier to do window shopping when the specifications are as widely/thoroughly available as possible.
Sure people can't read sometimes, try the first post.
