I run a GTX 1080 with an I7 7700k. My current monitor is an ASUS VG278HE 1080p 144hz TN. I am currently playing AC origins at ultra settings getting framerates between high 80's and low 100's. I do not see any visible tearing or stuttering. I am getting a new monitor and am aware of the Gsync offers by ASUS and Acer but none of them are curved (I just like the look of curved and I dont have the real estate for the ultrawides). I definitely want 144hz 1440p Ips/VA. i am inetrested in eyecandy and only play RPG's such as witcher and ESO. I have seen the below monitors that encompass what i am looking for but they are Freesync. Is there going to be any noticeable artifacts during game play and will I still get the same framerate?

Thanks for any help.

Best you'll get is 144Hz, normal mode.
Thank you for a response I appreciate it. I not quite sure what that means I am aware of Gsync and Freesync differences But I like the look of the Samsung and MSI monitors and the reviews I have seen. Just worried about artifacting and framerates. I could get the PG27VQ from Asus that has Gsync but its a TN panel Am I over thinking this???

Cheers I am currently running a 27" Tn 1080p 144hz monitor with no adaptive sync and getting between 80 to 100+ frame rates and no issues I just like the monitors with better eyecandy so will bite the bullet and probably get either the MSI optix MPG27CQ or the samsung Thanks again
