Hi all,

Ive just ordered a monitor to use as a tv (it has svideo and composite inputs). Im planning on getting a freeview box for it so that i can watch tv on the monitor.

I have one problem though, we have Sky pumped around the house using the coaxial cable from the sky box.

I presume i will need an analogue tuner to decode the signal so that i can watch sky? or will the freeview dtv tuner do that for me?

So... if it doesnt, are there any freeview boxes out that include an analogue tuner as well as a digital freeview tuner?

Cheers in advance,

Edward

The only thing I can think of is a DVD Recorder with integrated Freeview tuner.

These also have Analogue tuners in them. (Most of them do, double check though!)

The other option is to use an old video recorder.

Plug the aerial feed into the freeview box and then loop into the VCR. The VCR will act as an RF modulator and output the Sky via Svid/Compostie (depending on VCR).
