Hi,

I just recieved my new Leadtek DVB-T USB Freeview stick, and I've got a fair few channels. But most of them are radio channels. The actual Freeview ones I've got are more out-of-the-way channels. I've not been able to get BBC 3 and 4, or ITV 1, 2, 3 and 4, nor C4, E4 or C5, and hardly any of the other channels (UKTV xyz, etc).

Anyone know what the freeview provider frequencies for Merseyside (West-Wirral, specifically) are? I'm having a bit of bad luck, and considering the freeview box downstairs picks everything up fine, I shouldn't be.

Oh, and before anyone asks - the ariel is lined up for best signal (according to the software supplied).

Thanks

How can the software determine if your arial is pointed at the best signal, it doen't known what transmitters are available.

Not getting either of the ITV/C4 Muxs (MUX2 and MUXA) is normal as the have the weakest signals and high compression. However, as you cannot get BBC3 which is from Mux 1 and is usually the strongest signal I would think that your arial is pointed at a analogue only transmiter and a digital transmitter is in roughly the opposite direction.

You can get details of transmitter locations and channel numbers from the BBC website. Try a seach of 'Winter Hill' which is the main transmitter in Lancs.
