I'm after 2 freeview through PC cards/sticks.

One for this laptop: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=LT-136-AS

One for a PC built around an e6750 on a Gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R.

Obviously, the laptop needs a USB card, but for the e6750 PC I was thinking about either PCI-e or PCI with a built in MPEG encoder. I'm looking to spend about £35 on each. What I'm after is somebody who has used one in vista media centre to come and tell me which they use and what the graphics quality is like (resolution and fps). The reason for that is I already have a USB dongle that will not work in vista (no chance, the company are not supporting it at all, ****) and I don't want to be stung again.

Thanks in advance

Are you likely to be using them both at the same time? If not save yourself a bit of money and just get a USB one and use it on both.

PK!

Yeah I am as the USB one will be on my mum's laptop (she has no idea what she's buying. I got her the laptop and she paid me back) while the PCI version will be in my own PC, which more often than not will be in completely different places.
