Can anyone offer any advice?

All my TV channels on Freeview have changed to different numbers, eg. Channel One, which was BBC1 is now Sky News. BBC is something like number 57. Additionally, the HD channels, which were 101, 102, 103, etc are also now something else, so the HD viewing has gone.

I‘ve retuned the TV, but it just comes back the same.

Is there anything I can do, please?

There's similar issues in threads on the A/V forums, some suggestions say try unplugging the aerial then do a retune to clear all settings, then reconnect and tune again. Worth a try?

Interesting article. I’ve always wondered why Freeview can’t simulcast the SD and HD versions of channels, e.g. tune in to BBC One and it will be SD if (somehow) that’s all your TV will do and HD if your TV is so equipped.

I also emailed Freeview the other week to ask if they would ever “broadcast” over IPTV, replicating the way normal broadcast TV works rather than separate apps like iPlayer, etc. It seems a simpler way to deliver their services in future.

Thanks, just tried that. Still the same though. Looks like I’ll just have to get used to it!
