Got a freezer pro on its way should be here tommorow morning or monday,

the manual online says this

Align the Freezer in a standard ATX case in such a

way that the fan blows the hot air to the back. Use

there a case fan to remove the hot air. In case you

are using our Silentium PC Case, the Freezer 64 Pro

should blow the hot air to the front since the cool air is

drawn in from the back.

The problem being that my socket 939 retention bracket on the mobo is

the other way round, You clip the heatsink on at the top and the bottom as opposed to sides,

So which way round do i mount it ?

The ideal way on a standard case is for the fan to be mounted on the front facing side of the heatsink, blowing air through it and out the back....

On the "original" artic cooler 64, you could not move the clip so if you had the bracket facing up & down (as on my old epox 9nda3) you had to have the fan blowing up.

Anyhow - the new PRO version allows you to move the clip around, so you can adjust the fitment to suite whichever orientation of bracket you have. So you should be able to install it as above regardless. :D

Hope that helps?

I've still not sussed out how to properly rotate mine 90 degrees. I'm either massively incompetent or it's knacked. Will mess about with it one last time this weekend.

Its pretty easy. Undo the bolt that holds the black plastic arm in place. This should seperate that section and the main "U" shaped section of the clip. Take out and refit at 90 - there is pin on the centre of each side of the block for alignment. Then put the end piece and plastic arm back in place, and fasten bolt back up.

Easy.. :p
