Great lil cooler, kept my old AMD phenom II black chip with unlocked quad core nice and cool until I tried to push it past 3.8 upto 4GHz and killed the cpu.
 
These coolers are amazing. The performance to £ ratio is pretty good standard.

If you want a cracking cooler for the same price, strap on a fan at the rear of it for some push pull goodness :)
 
had some issues with mine after about 6 months, fan died suddenly, removed it and found the motherboard bracket cracked in half also, i might just be an unlucky one though
 
My wife has this cooler in her pc as far as i know it's ok, but when she turns on her pc the fan on it almost goes to spin in the "wrong " direction ( about half way )...then goes the right way as normal , have no idea why though lol
 
as said, this cooler is superb for the money.

I remember when I first joined OcUK as a system builder and we were using these to cool heavily overclocked 65nm C2Q CPUs. they did the job just fine then and still do now.


you will struggle to find anything quieter for the money.
 
I have this cooler on my other i5 2500K overclocked at 4ghz. I did an IBT run yesterday and the temps were 77 deg C and below (core voltage was around 1.23v). The ambient temp was 25 deg in my room yesterday. Not bad considering its small size. Fan is also vey quiet.

touch decision, all of them are superb for the price.

i like the civetta and the vapor personally but thats because not many people have them so its a bit more individual.

i would say the freezer7 is the best vfm out of all of them honestly though
 
Got one but the fan squeels now, Also snapped my bracket within a week of putting it on my Phenom x3. Damn AMD brackets are poor. Recommended though as its a nice cheap upgrade from stock

Agreed, As I said, attach another fan push pull and you've got a cracking cooler for the £££
