not the biggest supporter of this cooler myself, i had one installed for about 6 months, until i went to take it apart due to the fan dying, the plate that secured it to the motherboard had snapped in half as well, seems like flimsy plastic tbh

sure, they are not built as well as a noctua/bequiet cooler. but they are £20

the return stats at OcUK are as follows:

Sold: 10,000+
Returned: 99 [44% faulty - 56% unwanted]
return rate = 1%

thats pretty spectacular on a £20 cooler.

Fantastic little cooler, I've been using mine since November, keeps my 4.40GHz 3770k under 30c idle and under 70c on full load.

For £20 I can't recommend it enough (Although I remember buying it from here cheaper than £20)

It's a OK cooler. It can manage stock clocks fine and at almost slient however, you wont be able to do much of a overclock on them. I managed to get about 4.2GHz (stock volts) on a 3570K with about 64C under Prime95.

I then got the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo and can do 4.6GHz in Prime with a max temp of 68C.

It's a good cooler and is silent, but not great for any sort of overclocking (since there are better for a little more in price). I'm glad I got it initally since it was pretty small in comparison to some other coolers :O

Good return rate

Was it always this price? seem to remember these a little cheaper.

Metal prices have been rising for a while now. Especially copper.

I used to swear by arctic cooling products, back in the day they were hard to beat for price/performance.

I think the Xigmatek Gaia cooler is a better buy for £20, solid construction, good cooling and quiet.

Epic little coolers. I have an original one I used on a very old Sempron build when I was young. Now still in use on an Athlon64 HTPC.

Also had one on my Q6600 which did very well :)

Had a couple of these! Classic bargain cooler. Hard to see past it if running at stock. Will tolerate moderate overclocking, providing you don't go too far above stock volts.

This must be the best cooler for the price by a long mile.

Buy it for £20 (albeit a bit on the high side) - Use it for 1-2 years - sell it for £10-£15 on a certain auction site, given you still have the packaging. You can't beat that!
