Freezer pro and artic paste

hi

just building my pc and just realised that the Freezer Pro comes with pre-applied thermal paste. Should I still use any artic silver 5 paste between the Pro 7 and CPU?

Either pull the pad off clean & apply AS5 or leave it as is & fit. I've tried both & you'll get a few degrees cooler with AS5.

just the pre-applied will be fine, as far as i know its decent stuff anyways MX-2 i think

i left it on, have no issues with temps at 3ghz and 1.425 V on an E2160...

in fact, my PC folds on one core constantly
